Split Pea Pancakes


Ingredients:

  • Peas - 1.5 cups (soaked overnight or preferably even for a day).
  • Carrots - 2
  • Beetroot - 1
  • Walnut - 1 tb.sp.
  • Parsley
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Flour - 1 cup
  • Semolina - 1 cup
  • Selery - 2
  • Salt - 1 t.sp.

Spices:

  • Mango powder - 1/4 t.sp.
  • Turmenic- 1/4 t.sp.
  • Asafetida - 0.5 t.sp.
  • Svanska salt - 1 t.sp.
  • Adgika - 0.5 t.sp.
  • Dry dill - 1 tb.sp.


  1. With a blender, crush everything except spices, flour and semolina
  2. Add now the rest to the mixture. It should be as thick as for pancakes dough.
  3. Fry them on sunflower oil from to sides on small fire. Baking is an option also.
