Dates pudding


Ingredients for 3-4 persons:
0.5 cups of dried pitted dates
1 pinch of turmeric (or saffron)
2.5 cups of milk
a little bit of cardamom
a little bit of ginger powder
4 almonds in skin (or pistachios)
1 tablespoon ghee

Blend dates and 1 cup of milk.
Boil the rest of milk, add cardamom, almonds, dry ginger and the contents of the blender. Then add ghee. Cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes on low heat.

Almonds soaked overnight in water. Better to take charoul nuts, but I did not, so almonds were used.
If you are cooking with saffron, soak it for 10 minutes in a tablespoon of milk.
