Autumn pie with apple and pumpkin

Hello, autumn! This is really what you are thinking when you eat this autumn pie. It is soft, sweet enough and all flavors of cinnamon, pumpkin and apple are in one symphony.

Ingredients:

For the crust:
  • Flour - 350 gr
  • Powdered sugar - 1½ tbsp.
  • Butter (cubed) - 225 gr
  • Cold water - 1½ tbsp.
For the fillling:
  • 2 tbsp. Butter
  • Apples - 7
  • Pumpkin - 400 gr
  • Cinnamon - pinch
  • Sugar white - 60 gr
  • Brown Sugar - 60 gr
  • Vanila - 1 tsp
  • Corn Flour - 3 tbsp. 
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp

Method:

We start with the preparing a crust:
  1. Mix the flour with powdered sugar and then rub it with the butter cubes.
  2. Add cold water. Knead the dough and divide it into 2 parts and shape it into a disc.
  3.  Cover it and put in fridge for 30 minutes.
  4. Roll it. Transfer it to a pie mold.
  5. Poke the dough lightly with a fork.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 5 minutes.
Till you dough is resting in frindge, you can prepare a filling:
  1. Melt butter in a pan, add apples, pumpkin, cinnamon, sugar, vanila and cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Add corn flour and stir.
  3. Turn the gas off and squeeze lemon juice in it.
  4. Transfer the filling into the pie mold and decorate the pie with the rest of pie dough.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes till golden colour.
