Caramel Pear Pie
When you eat this caramel pear pie, you enjoy with flavours of cardamom, cinnamon and taste of hole wheat flour. So delicious!
Ingredients:
Caramel:
- Cane sugar - 75 gr
- Water - about 5 tbsp
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
- Cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- Cardamom - 1/2 tsp
- Coconut oil - 1 tbsp
- Pears - 7
Dough:
Pear - 1
Water - 100 ml
Flour - 100 gr
Whole flour - 100 gr
Sugar - 40 gr
Coconut oil - 3 tbsp
Baking powder - 1 tsp
🍐 Method:
- Add sugar, lemon juice, water in a pan and boil for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Add the coconut oil, cinnamon and cardamom and carefully mix till you see bubbles.
- And then put the pear slices in caramel, reduce the fire to a small and let the pears be cooked in the caramel for about 5 minutes.
- Turn off the fire and pour this caramel pears into a mold.
While the pears are being cooked, make a dough.
- Blend 1 pear, water, coconut oil.
- Take all dry ingredients together.
- Combine pear mixture and a dry flour mix. Look at the consistency of the dough - it should not be too thick.
- Spread the dough into a mold over the pears.
- Bake in preheated oven 30 minutes at +180 C.
- Pie is ready, give it few minutes to cool down, and then turn it so that the pie is on the dish with the pears up.
